To convert measurements this site provides an excellent calculator:
http://www.wolframalpha.com/

By entering "1 dram = teaspoons" the answer is 0.75 teaspoons

By entering "1 gram = teaspoons" the answer is 0.2029 teaspoons or 5 grams = 1 teaspoon

By entering "1 ml = teaspoons" the answer is 0.2029 teaspoons or 5 ml = 1 teaspoon.

I hope this helps.

Stan-lee,

Sodium bicarbonate makes a wonderful cleanser for surfaces in the home, even in nurseries. Iodine may cause some staining however it will kill germs.

Sincerely,
Claudia French

Dear Maria,

I hope you can understand why specific dosages of sodium bicarbonate cannot be given without much more information about your friend's condition and medical treatment. You might want to consider a personal consultation with Dr. Sircus where he can better evaluate her needs.

Sodium bicarbonate needs to be taken in an amount that will raise the pH into a very alkaline level to kill off cancer cells. This would be different for everyone and needs to be checked by testing with pH strips daily and the amounts adjusted according to those results.

Sincerely,

Claudia Frencch RN, LPHA
