Tumors tend to shrink if they are frequently exposed to an alkaline environment, such as being bathed in sodium bicarbonate solution. This is easiest with externally accessible tumors such as those in the mouth, esophagus, stomach, colon, prostate, rectum and cervix or uterus. Generally boil 1-3 liters of water, dissolve 2 – 4 big spoonfuls of sodium bicarbonate. Lie so that the affected cavity is the lowest part of the body and insert the solution. Taking a bath in baking soda would not be equivalent to ingesting baking soda. A bath will pull out toxins rather than introduce baking soda and frequent baths should be done in times of heavy radiation…not necessarily every day in normal conditions. Too much may very well cause problems.

But please read the sodium bicarbonate book in addition to the magnesium book for more information. Dr. Sircus is generally advising reverse osmosis treatment for water.

Would taking a bath with 1 pound of backing soda (I think that’s what the book recommends), 4-5 times a week be ok, as an example, or would the body absorb some of the water and it would be equivalent to taking Baking Soda orally and having too much CO2 in your system. Not that I would actually take a bath with Baking Soda once a day, but I want to understand how the body works.

Sorry I misunderstood that you were talking about bicarb instead of magnesium!!!

Some of the things you could do is take a good look at your diet……do you eat a very acid forming diet?

To alkalinize:
Decrease the amount of meat eaten

Increase amount of fruit and juice daily

Take Vit C and Magneisum which affect alkalinity

Add juice of 1/2 a lemon to a glass of water twice daily

Eat more alkalizing greens. Kale, turnips, mustard greens, endive and collard greens all increase alkalinity. Consume at least two cups of alkalizing greens per day.
Add oats, wild rice, quinoa, yams, sweet potatoes and lentils (all alkalinizing foods) to your diet.

Yes breaks are needed when using higher doses of bicarb for treatment of cancer……to allow the body to adjust and not become too high in carbon dioxide which can lead to many bad problems…..heart and breathing problems. This is why we would rather not have people become so dependent on drinking the bicarb, though many do fine in the small doses like 1/8-1/4 tsp per day….

Our pH levels do fluctuate…..depending on whether we are testing urine or saliva, when we last ate or drank something, what we last ate or drank, our general state of health etc. Some people with kidney failure cannnot excrete acids in their body appropriately and this is one reason why daily bicarbonate is prescribed for them.

pH should always be checked fasting or at least two hours away from eating or drinking anything.
